Fraud Prevention

At Patriot we have a zero tolerance policy for fraudulent claims. Our adjusters are trained to recognize potentially fraudulent cases and our investigative specialists help to detect and prevent fraud. When necessary, we use surveillance as part of fraud prevention.

Realistic Reserves

Patriot and its carrier partners adhere to strict reserving guidelines. Within 14 days of the receipt of the claim, a reserve is set to reflect the probable ultimate cost of the claim. At minimum, a 30-day diary for all open cases is set to continually review the reserves and make any necessary adjustments.
